Time flies!

Wow! The days are flying by! The twins are 6 months old now and so much has changed. They have gone from snuggly little newborns to squirmy little babies. They are both progressing really well. Their accomplishments so far include sitting up, eating solids ( Ysabelle is a little better at this than Layla but she has the general idea), getting on all fours and rocking back and forth ( I fear crawling is in our near future :( oh my ), smiling and laughing and watching their older siblings like a hawk! They are no longer happy to sit in their swings and cuddling on the couch is sadly a thing of the past! Layla is a toy taker. We are calling her "the ganker" because even if she has the same toy Ysabelle is holding she will take it from her. Ysabelle is pretty mello so far and doesn't really seem to care but we know that won't last forever! Ysabelle is about a pound and a half bigger than Layla and about a half an inch longer. They are the pride and joy of our whole family. The kids simply adore the twins and they are a big help. Wesley is a champ at feeding the babies and he loves to make them laugh. Tyler is very concerned about the twins general health and well being, he is constantly alerting me about runny noses and strange noises that they make. Olyvia is such a great helper, she will do just about anything to help with the babies. The twins are such a perfect fit into our family, God sure does know what he is doing!!!!!
In other Kyte news baseball season is in full swing! Tyler is playing on the rookie 2 level ( I have no idea what the difference is other than you get 3 strikes and your out instead of 7 swings) and Wesley is playing rookie 1. Tyler has hit a grand slam and made some great plays. He loves playing short stop and pitcher. Wesley has had 2 hits this year and made several great plays. He enjoys playing short stop as well and he really likes to bat. Olyvia is not involved in any sports but she has become an avid scrapbooker. She likes to take pictures with her friends and put them on beautifully embellished papers. I will try to update before the year is over. The days flow into weeks and before you know it months have gone by. We try to cherish every moment and savor every day that God has blessed us with.
