Fairy fun!

I got to spend some quality time with Olyvia today. We went to a fairy house building day at the nursery. What a great event! She got all dressed up in her fairy wings and flower headband. She was a perfect woodland fairy! We went to the nursery and signed in, they handed us a receipt and she proudly handed it to the coordinator. We went to our station and the fun began. She filled a terra cotta pot with soil. Then she planted grass and moss in her little "fairy house". She added an acorn cap for a fairy chair and a shell for a fairy bed. Then she finished it off with some purple and pink glass marbles. The nursery helper watered it and - voila! a perfectly adorable fairy house! We went and looked around the grounds for a while and she played in the kids cottage. Then we rejoined the group and they went on a Fairy parade. After the fairy fun was over we went to Starbucks and had a nice cup of hot chocolate and a delightful pumpkin scone. She is such a sweetie - man I love that girl!

  1. How fun! She looks so much like you--definitely has your expressions! Gabe and I spent the day together too...must've been National Third Child Day!? We just went to see Madagascar to celebrate his report card. I am currently enjoying my morning coffee alone! Jim took all the boys to Home Depot to replace our leaf blower. I was hoping for some fun fall pics of leaf clean-up, but it has been raining here, so not likely! SOGGY! Miss you!
