Monday Morning Message

It is the Monday before Thanksgiving. I am sure everyone will have a busy week preparing to have family over or getting ready to travel to out for Turkey day!
We will be spending it at my cousin's house and I am super excited! I am bringing appetizers and a craft for the kids. More on that tomorrow!
I know this can be a time for anxiety and stress...trying to get all of the shopping done, cleaning the house, getting clothes ready and trying in general to make everything perfect. But this is Thanksgiving, a special time to appreciate all of the many blessings we have been given. I know it is going to be hurried and fussed over but I challenge you to keep this bible verse in the front of your mind and even pinned to your shirt if need be.......

Philippians 4:5-7 (NIV)

5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
